Dr. Richard M. Payne, DVM, AVCA

Veterinarian

Dr. Payne graduated from Cornell University in 1979 and completed a one-year internship at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon. After his training, he spent a year working with Dr. Clark in Portville. Dr. Payne has a special interest in Complementary Medicine and has been certified in Animal Chiropractic since 1992, as well as certified in acupuncture. In his free time, he enjoys spending time on his farm and riding his horses, Bubba and Roman.

Dr. Tane L. Wiseman, DVM

Veterinarian

1997 Graduate of Ross University, New York/St. Kitts, West Indies. Special interests include Feline Medicine. Member of the American Association of Feline Practitioners and the Cornell Feline Health Center. Tane lives with her six cats and her dog, Tia, with whom she enjoys participating in obedience and agility activities.

Veterinarian

Dr. Dahar was born in Olean and grew up in Hinsdale, NY. She worked at Light House Vets throughout her high school and undergraduate years as a veterinary assistant for six years. After attending St. Bonaventure University, where she majored in Biochemistry, she earned her veterinary degree from Cornell University in 2013. She began her professional career immediately at Light House Vets and continues to provide dedicated care to her patients.

Dr. Amy Hill, DVM

Veterinarian

Dr. Hill is a 2016 graduate of the Ontario Veterinary College. After beginning her career at a 24-hour hospital north of Toronto, she moved to Ireland where she lived and worked for seven years. While there, she served as a day veterinarian, an emergency overnight vet, and a mentor for new veterinarians. Amy has a deep passion for helping pets and their owners, which has been reflected throughout her career. She looks forward to providing compassionate care to clients at Light House Vets.

Veterinarian

Dr. Bailey is a 2020 graduate of Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine. She is excited to bring her knowledge and compassion to the team at Light House Vets.

Suzanne P., LVT, CVPM, MBA

Management

Suzanne Payne joined the practice in 1982 after earning her AAS from Delhi Ag and Tech in 1980. She also holds an MBA from St. Bonaventure University (2007) and a BS in Business Management from Empire State College. Sue is a Certified Veterinary Practice Manager (CVPM) and has played a key role in establishing our satellite clinic in Bradford. She oversees growth and expansion projects along with the day-to-day management at Light House Vets. When she’s not at the clinic, Sue enjoys running her BnB and farm wedding venue.

Christina A.

Licensed Veterinary Technician

Christina Abbott, CVT, LVT, is a 2010 graduate of the Vet Tech Institute of Pittsburgh. She completed her internship hours at Light House Vets before gaining experience in shelter medicine. In 2014, Christina joined the Bradford Pet Stop as a full-time veterinary technician. In 2019, she moved back to Pittsburgh and worked at Pittsburgh Veterinary Specialty and Emergency Center as an Emergency and Critical Care Veterinary Technician, focusing primarily on ICU patients. Christina rejoined Light House Vets as a full-time veterinary technician in September 2020, while also working per diem at Orchard Park Veterinary Medical Center in their Emergency and Critical Care Unit.

In her spare time, Christina cheers for her three kids’ sports teams, loves to travel, and enjoys hiking with her five rescue dogs at Allegany State Park. Her dream is to eventually move to Hawaii with her husband and contribute to sea turtle and marine life rehabilitation efforts.

Rochael Roulo has been with Light House Vets since 2011, working as a Kennel Assistant and Roomer.

In her spare time, Rochael enjoys gardening, spending time with her horses, and raising her chickens. She cares for two thoroughbred horses named Chacha and Pie, along with several rescued cats.

Tracy is currently studying for her Veterinary Technician degree at Penn Foster. She works closely with our doctors in the exam rooms, assists with medical records, and pitches in wherever help is needed around Light House Vets.

Jada is a room assistant who helps our doctors with medical records and patient care. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Geneseo.

Receptionist

Vicky joined Light House Vets in 2011 and has been working as a receptionist ever since. She is a 2004 graduate of Hinsdale Central School.

She has a black Labrador named Jaxson and two cats named Sam and L. In her free time, Vicky enjoys spending time with her husband, two daughters, and her pets.
